It can be so har...Thank you for your transparency. It can be so hard, as a caregiver/parent of a child with special needs. to admit that we can't do everything all of the time. Our own humanness can make us feel like we've failed our kids or that we're deficient in some way as parents. It's great that you've given yourself permission to make some changes that will help you and ultimately benefit your daughter as well. It's great too that you had someone who was willing to see your needs and address them with you honestly, so that you would know that change was needed and that it was possible.
